WASHINGTON -- American University men's basketball heads to Annapolis on Wednesday night to take on Navy. With both teams sitting at 6-4 in the PL play, this game is crucial for both squads as they jockey for position in the league hierarchy for postseason play.

• Navy has won four of the last five in the series, including a win in Bender during the Patriot League quarterfinals a season ago.

• Stacy Beckton Jr. matched a career-high with 18 points against the Leopards. He has reached double-figures in five of his last six games.
• Connor Nelson scored 11 points and nabbed a career-high four steals.
• Jamir Harris leads the Patriot League in free-throw percentage (93.3).

• The Midshipmen are coming off a road loss to Loyola Maryland on Saturday, falling 79-73 in Baltimore.

• Defensively, Navy leads the league by allowing just 62.6 ppg and holding opponents to 42.6 percent from the field. The Midshipmen also own the boards, holding a +5.2 rebounding margin to lead the PL.
• Cam Davis leads the team and ranks fourth in the PL with 17.0 ppg. 
• Evan Wieck is efficient from the field, ranking second in the PL by shooting 63.9 percent.
