WASHINGTON -- American University men's basketball will be looking to extend its three-game winning streak when they head up to Lewisburg to take on Bucknell inside the always-rowdy Sojka Pavilion on Saturday afternoon.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- American won a heart-stopping, last-second game in Bender Arena last month.
- Bucknell has won 24 of 32 meetings in Lewisburg, with AU's last win coming on Jan. 2, 2014.
- The last time AU has won three straight games in the series was from Feb. 13, 2008 to Feb. 11, 2009. The Eagles have won the last two meetings.
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT AMERICAN
- The Eagles are flying high with three straight wins, including an 81-76 win over Loyola on Wednesday night.
- Sa'eed Nelson went 8-of-9 from the free-throw line on his way to 22 points, the sixth time in his last eight games that he's reached the 20-point marker. Nelson added four steals and five rebounds, as well.
- Five Eagles scored in double-figures, the first time that's happened since the last time AU played Loyola on Jan. 22, 2020.
- Jamir Harris leads the Patriot League in free-throw percentage (93.0), going 4-of-4 from the line on Wednesday. He is also currently first in single-season FT percentage at AU.
