The American University women's soccer team fell 5-0 to Maryland in an exhibition match Saturday night in College Park, Md. Ashley Grove scored two goals to pace the Terrapins. Molly Dreska, Jasmyne Spencer and Colleen Deegan also added scores for Maryland to set the final margin.

American will open the regular season on Saturday, August 21 at 1 p.m. against Georgetown at Reeves Field. Admission to the contest is free. The game will be broadcast live on Eagles Vision TV, part of AUeagles.com. Fans that purchase a year-long membership for only $49.95 can watch any live broadcast, as well as any archived broadcast from the season anytime they want.
