Her responsibilities encompass oversight of the initial and continuing eligibility certification processes, transfer regulations, APR/GSR reporting, Sports Demographic Reporting, and NCAA waivers and petitions.

She is responsible for keeping administration informed of all NCAA updates affecting department operations.

De Hof previously served as American's Assistant Director for Compliance from 2019–2021. Following that tenure, she spent three and a half years at the University of Maryland, where she managed all compliance activities for the field hockey, volleyball, tennis, cross country, and men's and women's track and field teams in accordance with Big Ten and institutional policies.

Before joining American University, De Hof worked at Limestone University as a Compliance Coordinator and coordinator of game day operations and special events. While a student-athlete on the field hockey team at Limestone, she served as co-chair of the School's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
