Jordan Gaitley

Jordan Gaitley joined the American University men’s basketball staff in September 2022 as the program’s Director of Operations.
 
Prior to arriving at American, Gaitley was a member of the University of Richmond men’s basketball team for five seasons. He was a part of the Richmond team that set a record for the most wins in a regular season in program history before COVID shut the season down. In 2021-22, Gaitley and the Spiders won the Atlantic 10 Championship, advancing to the NCAA Tournament and beating Iowa in the first round.
 
Gaitley has worked various basketball camps including Richmond Basketball Camp, Fordham Basketball Camp, 6th Boro Hoops, and has worked as a Camp and Staff Director at OC Hoops Camp.
 
He is the son Frank and Stephanie Gaitley. His mother, Stephanie, was formerly head coach of the Fordham University women’s basketball team and is currently the head coach of women's basketball at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Gaitley's oldest brother, Dutch, is currently an Assistant Coach/Director of Player Development with the Sacramento Kings after playing collegiately at both Monmouth and Temple. Gaitley's other older brother, DC, played basketball at Fordham.
