Emma Winters enters her new role with American University Women’s Basketball as Director of Basketball Operations after previously serving as a team manager. During her time as a manager, she played an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the program, assisting with practices, games, team travel, equipment, and other organizational responsibilities. She worked closely with the coaching staff and student-athletes to help ensure the program operated smoothly both on and off the court.
Her experience as a manager provided her with a strong understanding of the demands of a Division I basketball program and allowed her to develop valuable experience in team operations, organization, communication, and behind-the-scenes preparation. She now brings that experience into her new position as Director of Basketball Operations, where she will continue to contribute to the success of the program.
