David Parker joined the American University Athletics staff as the Assistant Director of Athletic Development in May of 2024. Parker, a graduate of Wingate University with a degree in sport management and a member of the men’s lacrosse team, came to AU from the University of Colorado where he served as an Account Executive in both ticket sales as well as fundraising for the Buff Club.

Parker was with Colorado from September 2022 until accepting the position at American. His past experience includes ticket sales with D.C. United, as well as working in the athletic department and campus recreation offices at his alma mater, Wingate University.
