Brian Chepulis left American University in May, 2025.

Brian Chepulis joined the American University Athletics staff as Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities & Operations in February, 2021.

Chepulis came to American from the University of Maryland where he spent six years as an assistant director for the Facilities, Operations, and Events office. In his role, he oversaw the scheduling, staffing, and game management for the Terrapin men's soccer, women's basketball, and women's lacrosse programs.

While at UMD, Chepulis served as the facility manager for the Varsity Team House, Kehoe Track, Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex and the Indoor Practice Bubble. He handled all branding, signage, maintenance requests and upgrades in those facilities. He was also the secondary facility manager for the Xfinity Center and the Cole Fieldhouse. 

Prior to Maryland, Chepulis was the assistant manager for facilities & events at Towson University for three years. At Towson, he had direct responsibility for the management of game operations for gymnastics, baseball and track & field.

He graduated from Towson with a degree in sports management. Chepulis earned his master's in sport administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2013.
