2011-12: Earned All-America honors for thesecond straight season … posted a 21-3 record with 17 falls… finished 20-1 in non-forfeited matches … his 17single-season pins and 27 career falls are both second-most inprogram history … finished sixth at the NCAA Championshipsafter recording four pins … captured his second straight EIWAChampionship and third of his career with a 3-1 sudden victory overNo. 2 Zachery Rey of Lehigh … pinned his other threeopponents at the EIWAs, all of which came in 1:36 or less …defeated six ranked opponents on the season … his fastestfall came in 24 seconds against North Carolina State’s JoshDavis … finished 13-0 in dual meets … was ranked No. 1in the country for 16 straight weeks and earned the No. 1 seed atthe NCAA Championships … participated in the NWCA All-StarClassic for the second straight year, posting an 11-2 majordecision over No. 6 Spencer Myers of Maryland … pinned eachof his three opponents at the Northeast Duals and both of his foesat the NWCA National Duals.

Russo of Rutgers … defeated CentralMichigan’s Jarrod Trice 3-1 at the NWCA All-Star Classic… ranked fourth on the team with a 26-6 overall record,second with 10 falls, third with two tech-falls and fifth withthree major decisions … recorded 11 wins over rankedopponents including eight wins over opponents ranked in the topfive … won 11 straight matches between Feb. 9 and March 17including six bonus point victories … fastest fall came in1:04.
