Biography

2025-26: Went 14-9 his freshman year at 149 pounds, going 4-5 in duals… Was ranked as high as #26 on WrestleStat… Finished second at the ESU Open on 11/9, going 5-1… Contributed to AU’s first-ever win over Michigan State on 12/18, pinning Clayton Jones in 5:02… Won four pins… Scored six major decisions, the second most on the team.

High School: 16U Fargo Freestyle champion… National runner-up as a senior… National champion as a junior… Placed third in the state of California in 2025. 

Personal: Son of Juan and Melissa Maestas… Enjoys golfing, hanging out with friends and family, and watching Family Guy… Plans to major in Accounting at AU.
