Jarrod Elwell enters his second year as a member of MarkCody’s coaching staff.

Prior to his time at American, Elwell was heavily involved withyouth wrestling in the Maryland and Virginia area. He served ashead coach and commissioner of the Outlaws Wrestling Club and ascommissioner of the Capital Area Wrestling League. Elwell is alsoco-founder of the Maryland summer wrestling league.

Elwell wrestled at Binghamton University during his collegiatecareer, and was a high school All-American and multi-state championfor Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington, Vermont.

He was also the chief executive of the nonprofit Hogares inWashington, D.C. from 2001-2009, where he focused on organizationaldevelopment and capacity building.

Elwell received his Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton and aMaster of Science from the University of Maryland.
