Biography

2024-25: Wrestled in two dual meets before suffering a season ending injury and taking a redshirt year. 

2023-24 (Junior) - Placed eighth at the EIWA Championships at 125 pounds and was named the second alternate for the NCAA Championships... Earned NWCA Scholar All-American honors for a second year in a row, and an EIWA Academic Achievement Award for a third year in a row... Was ranked as high as #16 by Intermat early in the season and as high as #26 in the NCAA rankings before finishing at #28... Started the season 10-0 including upsets of #4 Eddie Ventresca of Virginia Tech and #15 Braxton Brown of Maryland... Missed a number of matches but still finished 15-4 overall and 9-2 in dual meets... Beat #32 Tristan Lujan of Michigan State... Posted three pins, one technical fall and three major-decision victories.

2022-23 (Sophomore) - Earned a win at the 2023 NCAA Championships with an upset of #18 Jason Shaner of Oregon State, pinning Shaner in 5:17 in the consolation first round...Qualified for his first NCAA Championships with a fifth-place finish at the 2023 EIWA Championships, going 4-2 overall including a win over #25 Kurt Phipps of Bucknell... Both losses at EIWAs were to #31 Brendan Ferretti of Navy... Placed eighth at the F&M Open on Jan. 6, going 4-1 overall after a 3-0 start... Had a 3-0 week before the break, earning wins by decision at Mason, Sacred Heart and Hofstra. His SHU win came in a tiebreaker against former teammate Andy Fallon... Took first place at The Citadel Open by going 4-0 including a pin and a major decision... Earned a win over Maryland for the second year in a row in the Eagles’ opening day of duals on November 5... NWCA Scholar All-American... EIWA Academic Achievement Award... Named team's Most Outstanding Wrestler at the end-of-year banquet while also taking home the Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Award.

2021-22 (Freshman) - Went 4-2 at his first EIWA Championships to place fourth overall at 133 pounds, rattling off a streak of four straight wins after an opening loss... Posted a pin, a major decision and a win in sudden victory at EIWAs... Led the Eagles in duals with an 8-3 record including wins over NCAA pins leader King Sandoval of Maryland and Blair Orr of No. 19 Penn... Went 3-0 for the week when American hosted #12 Rutgers, Duke and Hofstra, earning GEICO Student-Athlete of the Week honors... Took down Devon Britton of Rutgers 6-2 and earned bonus-point wins against both Drake Doolittle of Duke (9-0) and Ty Cymmerman of Hofstra (pin in 1:54)... Was named Team MVP and earned an EIWA Academic Achievement Award.

Before AU - Four-year varsity letterwinner and two-time team captain at Shore Regional High School... Two-time NJ state medalist... Finished with 136 career wins... Twice named Outstanding Wrestler... First wrestler in Shore Regional history to never lose a home match... Two-time district champion and three-time district finalist... Four-time region finalist and state qualifier... Competed for the Triumph club team.
