Biography

2024-25 (Redshirt Freshman): 2024-25: Started all 21 dual meets as a redshirt freshman at 149, going 7-14 and contributing 26 points… Went 8-18 overall and represented AU at the EIWA Championships… Recorded his first career pin against Bucknell’s Kolby DePron on 2/14, pulling off a spladle move and adding a crucial six points toward a 23-18 victory... Given the Dr. Robert Karch Coaches Award at the team's annual banquet, given to the wrestler(s) that made significant contributions to the team in terms of attitude, improvement, or special leadership.  

2023-24 (Freshman) - Named the team's Most Outstanding Newcomer at the annual awards banquet... Went 10-10 overall... Took second place at the Zingo Nationals on March 3 at 149 points, going 3-1... Finished 4-2 at the Franklin & Marshall Open on Jan. 5... Earned a dual-meet win over Brooks Gable of Air Force by 6-2 decision on Feb. 11.

Before AU - Two-time state champion who went 125-4 in his high school career at South Carroll for coach Bryan Hamper... Also a four-time county champion and three-time regional champion... First team all-county all four years... NHSCA All-American in 2021... NHSCA junior champion in 2022... Named the 2022 Maryland WIN Magazine Wrestler of the Year... Team was state champs in 2022 and 2023... Wrestled for Headhunters WC and coaches Tommy King and John Nogle... Named to the honor roll all throughout high school.

Personal - Majoring in finance...Chose AU for the DC area along with the connections it provides..."I visited a lot of schools and American is a small campus in the big city with limitless opportunities. I also made an instant connection to the coaching staff on my visit. Coach Dance was first coach to reach out to me in my recruiting process and everything just clicked."
