2021-22 (Senior) - Went 0-10 in his return to the mat for his final season... Twice lost close decision by three points or less.

2020-21 (Junior) - Did not compete at the EIWA Championships, the program's only meet due to a COVID-shortened season.

2019-20 (Sophomore) - Went 2-11 overall with a win at Battle at The Citadel and another at the AU Round Robin... Earned one win by major decision, 13-3 vs. VMI’s Ethan Carpenter at the AU Round Robin.

2018-19 (Redshirt) - Went 5-16 overall with one win by fall at the Messiah Open where he finished sixth with a 3-3 record.

Before AU - Wrestled at Pottsville HS... Second all-time at Pottsville in wins with 129... Qualified for PIAA state tournament... Two-time regional placer and two-time district place-winner... Schuylkill League champion for Crimson Tide... Graduated with a 3.3 GPA... Four-year honor student... PFC John J. Wojicik Wrestling Scholar-Athlete.

Personal - Parents are Kelly and Rick Painter... Father played baseball at Mansfield University... Brother, Ty, played baseball at Shippensburg University... Is majoring in accounting with an eye on forensic accounting for the FBI after college... Led his Little League in home runs as a youngster... Sports hero is J.J. Watt, but pretended to be Chase Utley when playing sports as a kid... Enjoys kayaking, golfing and fishing.
