Biography

2025-26 (redshirt): Went 6-8 his freshman year with two dual wins… Picked up first career win over Buffalo’s Connor Scuilla on 11/15, a 5-2 decision… Placed fifth at the Edinboro Open on 1/31… Took a redshirt year.  

High School: Graduated with a 171-24 record… NHSCA national champion… Four-time state place winner… Pennsylvania state finalist… Team district champions… Distinguished Honor Roll… National Honor Society. 

Personal: Son of Marilee and David Close…  Mother Marilee played college basketball… Loves fishing… Plans to major in Finance at AU.
