Biography

2024-25 (Redshirt Sophomore): Finished second on the team in wins after going 24-13 overall… Ranked third on the team in both dual points (39) and dual wins, posting a 9-8 record… Led the team in technical falls with five, and finished tied for second in pins with five… Took sixth place on the podium at the EIWA Championships at 174, posting a technical fall, pin, and 4-1 decision of Lehigh’s Rylan Rogers toward a 3-3 showing… Won 14 of 17 bouts from 11/23 to 1/17, including an upset of #4 Lennox Wolak of Virginia Tech… Finished second at the Patriot Open on 12/8, third at the Southern Scuffle on 2/14, and first at the Patriot Last Chance Open on 2/23… Earned the #24 spot in the RPI rankings released on Feb. 13, ranked #33 on the first Coaches’ rank of the year.

2023-24 (Sophomore) - Competed in five open tournaments as a redshirt starting in January after returning from injury... Went 17-5 overall and earned top three finishes in four of the five opens he competed in... Went 3-0 for first place at the Wildcat Open and 4-1 for second place at the Messiah Open... Posted three pins, the fastest in 1:09 against Columbia's Joseph Curtis at the Edinboro Open, where he placed third... Won four matches by technical fall and three by major decision... Has a career record of 35-18.

2022-23 (Freshman) - Ranked third on the team with 18 total victories, going 18-13 overall and a team-best 11-8 in duals... Led the Eagles with seven wins by major decision... Totaled three wins by fall and one sudden victory win... Named Outstanding Newcomer at the end-of-year team banquet... Won 10 of 11 bouts from mid-November to early February... Went 3-0 at the Chippewa Challenge including two crucial major-decision wins... One of two Eagles to get a win vs. #8 Virginia Tech, doing so in dramatic fashion with a pin of Ty Finn in 2:22 that marked his fastest pin of the season and also his sixth straight victory... Was down 8-1 vs. Matt Rogers at Hofstra on Dec. 22 before coming back to tie at 9-9 and then pinning Rogers in 5:42 to get his fifth straight win... Won his fourth straight bout with a 13-1 major decision against Brandon Teresa at Sacred Heart on Dec. 21... Picked up his second dual win against #28 Dalton Harkins of Army by 4-3 decision on Dec. 3... Placed third at The Citadel Open after going 3-1, earning a win in the third-place bout with a 17-1 technical fall.

Before AU - Four-year letterwinner for coach Soloman Fleckman at Cannon School... Four-time NCISAA state champion and named Outstanding Wrestler at the state meet three times... Was undefeated against NCISAA opponents... Became the fourth NC prep wrestler to finish third at Prep Nationals.
