2018-19 (Sophomore) - Posted a 7-14 record with five wins by fall... Career record stands at 11-23... Went 2-2 at both the Wilkes Open at Mat-Town Open and 3-3 at at the Messiah Open where he finished eighth overall.

2017-18 (Freshman) – Went 2-2 at the Wilkes Open for his best performance of his true freshman year… Had a first-period WBF (1:15) over Will Schmidt of Sacred Heart, then an 8-0 major decision over teammate Colin Shannon… Lone dual-match appearance of the season came in 10-2 major decision loss to Zach Finesilver of Duke… Also had a WBF over teammate Turner Gray at the Storm Open… Went 1-2 at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic, beating Larry Brown of Lock Haven.

BEFORE AU –  Attended Lowell HS… Finished 6th in the Michigan state championships as both a junior and senior… Two-time district champ… Two-time conference champion… All-state academic honoree twice… Wrestled for Flat River Wrestling Club for R.J. Boudro…

PERSONAL –  Parents are Susan and Bart Dempsey… Older brother Brett is a heavyweight on the AU wrestling team… Hopes to major in justice and law… Magna cum laude graduate at Lowell HS… Would cast Jim Carrey in the lead role in a movie of his life… Likes brown sugar oatmeal before matches.
