Personal: Lobbyist on Capitol Hill... Volunteered for organizations to help children with special needs and chronic illnesses... Worked at camps throughout high school... Worked at a local MMA gym... Ran multiple personal businesses. Chose AU "because it gives me the opportunity to continue growing academically and athletically in a place that feels close to home. As a wrestler, I value the chance to compete at a high level while being part of a team that challenges me. I also like that AU’s location in D.C. allows me to stay connected to my community while exploring the city and its opportunities. More than anything, AU feels like a place where I can grow into the person I want to become."
