Jackie Proch begins her second season as an assistant to Head Coach Laura Campbell.

Proch graduated from Georgetown University in May of 2010 with a degree in Government. She played in 37 games during her four-year career, recording one assist, six ground balls, seven draw controls and six caused turnovers. Proch was also named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star during her junior and senior seasons.

As a senior, Proch was named tri-captain by Coach Ricky Fried, who is also head coach of the U.S. Women’s Lacrosse National team. That same year, the Hoyas held an undefeated conference record for the first time since 2006 and finished 13-6 overall. They also captured their first BIG EAST Tournament Championship en route to an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Proch recorded four ground balls, three caused turnovers and three draw controls during the campaign.

Proch was selected as a member of the Student-Athlete Leadership Academy at Georgetown, a program in which coaches and varsity student-athletes work together to develop leadership qualities. Her coaching experience includes having worked lacrosse camps at Navy, Georgetown, Princeton and James Madison. Proch was also the head coach of Jackals Club Lacrosse in Bethesda, Md. and Cardinal Club Lacrosse in Falls Church, Va.

Prior to attending Georgetown, Proch captained the girl’s lacrosse team at St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis, Md. In 2006, she was named to the Washington Post All-County Team, received All-Met Honorable Mention and was an Academic All-American.
