Ingrid Boyum

Boyum was commissioned as a Naval Intelligence Officer in May 2018, graduating from the Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in English before being stationed in Virginia Beach, Va. In 2018 and then Pearl Harbor, Hawaii between 2019 and 2021.
 
Upon her graduation from the Naval Academy, Boyum began coaching at Virginia Wesleyan University in the fall of 2018 and then while in Hawaii, coached with the Aloha Youth Lacrosse Association. Since 2014, she has also coached for Between the Pipes, an advanced lacrosse goalie training group.
 
While at Navy, Boyum was a three-year starter for the Mids between 2014-2018 under Coach Cindy Timchal. She is a two-time Patriot League Champion (2017, 2018). In 2017, she played in the NCAA Final Four game, defeating No. 2 ranked North Carolina in the Elite Eight to get there. Boyum was also a crucial part of the 2018 squad that reached the 2018 NCAA quarterfinals. In 2018, she was named to the Patriot League second team and Patriot League All-Tournament team.
 
She still holds the records at Navy for the most career saves, most saves in a season, most saves in a game, and most goalie wins.
