2024-25 (Freshman) - Winner of the 2024-25 Rookie of the Year Award for AU Swimming & Diving… Finished 12th at the 2025 Patriot League Championships in the 1650 freestyle with a personal-best 15:42.65... That time placed him fourth all-time on the AU All-Time Top 16 List… Also at the championship, made the C-final of the 500 free, placing 21st in a lifetime-best 4:31.51… That time placed him eighth all-time on the AU All-Time Top 16 List.
Before AU – Competed with New York Sharks club (coach Chris Mance)... Career best times include 4:37.98 in 500 free, 1:42.7 in 200 free, and 16:22.28 in 1650 free… Section IX swimmer of the meet in HS… Two-time Section IX champion… Three-time state qualifier.
Personal – Parents are Karen and Kevin Rothman… Works as a lifeguard and volunteer swim lesson instructor… Chose American for the many opportunities in D.C., the amazing campus, and the great environment of the swim team… Majoring in statistics.
