2011-12: Named to the All-Patriot League SecondTeam for the second straight year … recorded 38.50 points,23rd-most on the men’s side … earned a pair offourth-place finishes at the Patriot League Championships in the100 breast (56.69) and the 200 breast (2:04.15) … thoseswims were good for the fourth and ninth-fastest times,respectively, in school history … also finished ninth in the200 IM (1:51.66) at the PLs, the seventh-fastest time in AU history… came in sixth in the 100 back (53.81) at the NavyInvitational.

2010-11: Named 2010-11 men’s swimming anddiving’s MVP … also honored as All-Patriot LeagueSecond Team … earned sixth place in the 200 breaststroke(2:03.47) at the Patriot League Championships while registering alifetime-best and eighth-fastest time in program history …swam a career-best 1:52.40 in the PL preliminaries of the 200 IM,placing eighth on the AU all-time list for that event and latertaking eighth place in the final … finished 10th in the 400IM at PLs, while registering the seventh-fastest AU swimming timeof 3:59.81 in the prelims … swam a 57.12 breaststroke leg ofthe fourth-place 400 medley relay at the PLs … won sevenindividual events throughout the season … captured the 100breast (1:00.40), 200 breast (2:11.46), and 500 free (4:46.38)titles against George Washington and Catholic, while finishingsecond in the 200 IM (1:58.03) and 400 IM (4:13.31) … placedfirst in the 100 breast (1:00.41) and 400 IM (4:11.90) againstHoward, as well as the 200 free (1:47.59) and 200 IM (1:58.58)against Georgetown … clocked a pair of second-place finishesin the 100 breast (58.89) and 200 IM (1:55.59) at the Bison Invite… earned a sixth-place finish and career-best time of4:37.60 in the Patriot Invite’s 500 freestyle, while alsorecording a lifetime-best 58.77 in the 100 breast for a ninth-placefinish in the championship final.

2009-10: Selected as team''s Rookie of the Year... scored in all his events at the Patriot League Championships... swam season-best 4:39.55 in the 500 freestyle and 4:06.41 inthe 400 IM at the PLs … qualified for finals in all eventsat Patriot League Championships … recorded personal-besttimes in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.43) vs. George Mason, Army, andOld Dominion and in the 200 IM (1:57.18) at the University ofVirginia Invitational … registered a season-best time of2:09.68 in the 200 breaststroke vs. Georgetown … competed onthe 400 free relay team (3:38.60) vs. Navy, Bucknell, andLafayette, finishing second … member of the 200 medleyrelay, 400 medley relay, and 800 free relay teams at the PatriotLeague Championships.

High School: Team captain of high school teamat Barker College in 2008 ... NSW State finalist in 100breaststroke and 100 IM...  won all events in high schoolswimming competitions in 2007 ... New South Wales All-School swimrepresentative in 2008 … played varsity water polo andrugby.

Personal: Son of Geok Hin Ong and Mei Ling ...has two sisters, Ming-Xiu and Ming-Fen ... Ming-Xiu swam forPrinceton University and Malaysia ... majoring in internationalrelations.
