Before AU – Swam for Iolani Swim Club (coaches Jeff Meister and Ivan Batsanov)... Career bests include 59.14 in 100 fly, 2:15.66 in 200 fly, 55.34 in 100 free, 2:01.00 in 200 free, and 1:11.63 in 100 breast… Was all-conference first team and second team as a junior… Member of three-time Interscholastic League of Honolulu and Hawaii state champion team… Was a member of the Dean’s List and National Honor Society.

Personal – Parents are David and Jan Fujiwara… Enjoys traveling and outdoor activities… Volunteered at church and multiple community service events… Was a member of her high school JROTC program… Chose American for its location and opportunities within the nation’s capital, as well as the welcoming coaches and team… Majoring in finance at American.
