2012-13: Posted three top-20 individual finishes at the Patriot League Championship … 200 IM (16th, 2:11.06), 100 fly (19th, 59.07), 200 back (18th, 2:07.58) … her time in the 200 back ranks 10th all-time at American … also competed in three relays for the Eagles … 400 medley (7th, 4:01.78), 200 medley (7th, 1:49.69) and 400 free (8th, 3:40.12) ... selected as 2013-14 team captain.
2011-12: Recorded lifetime-bests at the George Mason Invitational with a 1:01.77 in the 100 backstroke leading of the 400 medley relay and a 28.97 in the 50 back leading off the 200 medley relay ... her 2:13.86 in the 200 back was also a personal-best at the GMU Invite, as was her 2:15.97 in the 200 IM ... also registered a 1:01.25 in the 100 fly at George Mason … finished 18th in the 100 fly (1:02.23) at the Navy Invitational … named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11: Named women’s swimming and diving’s Rookie of the Year … swam lifetime-best times in the 100 back (1:02.48), 200 back (2:15.79) and 200 IM (2:18.83) at the Patriot League Championships … also recorded season-best swims in the 50 free (27.28) against George Mason, Army and Old Dominion … registered season-best times in the 100 fly (1:05.08) at the Patriot Invite as well as in the 200 fly (2:29.89) versus George Washington and Catholic ... placed on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll ... recieved Dean''s List honors in both the fall and spring semesters.
High school: Swam four years in high school at Seneca Valley High School … four-time varsity letter winner … two-year captain … qualified for the Washington Metropolitan High School Swimming and Diving Championships from 2007-2010 … holds 200 free and 100 back records for her high school…high school won third in division in 2010 … swam ten years for USA and thirteen years for MCSL … received MCSL All-Star honors in 2007 and 2010 … won first place with Hydro-Sonic Tiburones team at Spring Championships from 2005-2010 … had an undefeated season with Waters Landing Thunder team in 2010 … captured MCSL division in 2010.
Personal: Daughter of Cynthia and Mark Von Heeringen … has two brothers, Mark and Austin … has a sister, Kathryn … plans on majoring in psychology and international studies.
