Emma Gresser joined the American University swimming & diving program as a volunteer assistant coach starting in the 2020-21 season.

Gresser was a four-year letterwinner at the University of Cincinnati from 2013-17. She swam the 200 Butterfly,  200 and 400 IM, and 1650. As a junior, she served as a team captain and is a three-time American Athletic Conference finalist and All-Academic honoree. The Akron, Ohio native competed for the Firestone Akron Swim Team before her NCAA career.

Since graduating in 2017, Gresser made a stop at DePaul University Athletics as an Athletics Communications Graduate Assistant before graduating with a masters in Public Relations and Advertising.
