2012-13: Raced in three events at the Patriot League Championships … finished 26th in the 1650 free, 17:46.74, 36th in the 500 free, 5:06.16 and 36th in the 200 free, 1:54.75.
2011-12: Finished in 22nd place in the 1650 free (17:44.13) at the Patriot League Championships … earned a pair of 33rd place finishes in the 200 free (1:53.95) and 500 free (5:03.58) … selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11: Swam all lifetime-bests at the Patriot League Championships, including the 200 free (1:54.72), 500 free (5:00.51) and the 1650 free (17:11.12) … also swam a personal-best 1000 free time of 10:55.43 against Bucknell, Lafayette, and Navy ... placed on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
High School: Swam four years at Gilmour Academy High School … four-year varsity letterwinner … served as captain for two years … district qualifier twice in the 500 free, once in the 200 free and once as part of the 200 free relay and the 200 IM relay (free leg) … awarded Most Promising Swimmer award in 2008 … received Coaches Award two years in a row (2009, 2010) … awarded the Lancer Award, given to the student-athlete who best represents the attributes of Gilmour Academy … also has an award named after him, the Alex Keene Perseverance Award.
Personal: Son of Nancy and Jim Keene … has three sisters, Nicholette, Danielle and Brittany… majoring in economics.
