Paige Lin
from the American University lacrosse team has been named the
American University Student-Athlete of the Week presented by GEICO,
Department of Athletics officials announced Monday. Lin led the
Eagles with four goals in Saturday's 20-11 victory over Bucknell on
Saturday. In addition to her four scores, she added an assist and
four draw controls.
The 20 goal effort was the Eagles best offensive output of the
season and the first time American has reached the 20 goal plateau
since a 20-9 win over Longwood at Jacobs Field on April 18,
2007.
