Senior Josh Olsen has been selected as
the AU Student-Athlete of the Week presented by GEICO, Department
of Athletics officials announced Monday.
The Thomaston, Conn. native tallied the first IC4A qualifying
time of the outdoor season for the Eagles on Saturday at the Bison
Outdoor Classic. Olsen won the 5,000 meter run to earn his first
individual title of the year. His time of 14:22.60 was a personal
best and good for 10th all-time at American.
Olsen and the Eagles will return to the track this Saturday,
April 21 when they head to the Morgan State Legacy Meet in
Baltimore, Md.
