Senior Emily Stankiewicz was named the
AU Student-Athlete of the Week presented by GEICO, Department of
Athletics officials announced Monday.
The Longmeadow, Mass. native led the Eagles with a hat trick in
Saturday’s 13-12 loss against Lafayette on Senior Day. She
also tallied a career-high six draw controls with three caused
turnovers and one ground ball in the game.
The senior currently leads the Patriot League with 1.69 caused
turnovers per game and has contributed 10 goals and six assists on
the year.
Stankiewicz and the Eagles will close out the Patriot League
regular season on Friday, April 13 when they take on Navy at 7 p.m.
