Biography

2021-22 (Senior) - Led AU with 19 wins and 45 takedowns in his final season... Won six straight starting on Jan. 23, going 8-1 in January and February and losing only to #20 Nick Incontrera of Penn... Wrestled up two weight classes (184) against Duke and won 6-3 against Vincent Baker... Went 4-2 and took fifth place at the Navy Classic, with one of his losses being to ninth-ranked Zach Hartman of Bucknell, last year’s sixth-place finisher at the NCAA Championships... Served as a team captain along with Will Jarrell and Patrick Ryan... Concluded his career going 1-2 at the EIWA Championships and finished 36-35 overall at AU... Earned an EIWA Academic Achievement Award.

2020-21 (RS Sophomore) - NWCA Scholar All-American... Earned an automatic qualification to his first NCAA Championships by taking a career-best third-place finish at the EIWA Championships, the program's only scheduled meet in a COVID-shortened season... Went 4-1 at the EIWAs... Had the most exciting start to the day with an 11-1 major decision victory over Sacred Heart's Patrick O'Donnell in the round of 16... Kept the momentum going by edging Hofstra's Ross McFarland 4-3 in the quarterfinals... After a semifinal loss by tech fall, he earned his way back into contention with a 5-3 decision vs. Binghamton's Jacob Nolan... Was set to compete on the mat for third place, but was awarded it via medical forfeit by Lehigh instead... Went 0-2 at the NCAA Championships to finish the season at 4-3 overall and now stands at 17-20 in his AU career... Earned an EIWA Academic Achievement Award.

2019-20 (RS Freshman) - Earned a podium finish at the EIWA Championships, placing eighth... Went 13-17 overall and 4-6 in dual matches... Lost his first match at the EIWA Championships to #21 Cael McCormick of Army before making a run through the consolation bracket with a pair of wins... Won four straight during the dual season including AU’s only pin vs. Drexel against Mike Manley in 2:25, and a sudden victory win over Navy’s Brian Case... Went 2-1 at the AU Round Robin and 2-2 at the Wilkes Open.

2018-19 (Redshirt) - Went 20-17 overall at 165... Best result was a 3-1 performance at the Messiah Open where he finished second... Took fourth at the Bob Quade Open with a record of 5-2... Finished the season with a 3-2 mark at the National Collegiate Open... Had five total wins by fall.

Before AU -- Wrestled at Holy Spirit HS, where he went 123-18... Had 36 pins as a prep... Two-time New Jersey State place-winner, finishing 4th as a senior... District and Region champion in N.J.... Cape-Atlantic League Wrestler of the Year Two-time Beast of the East Tourney place-winner... Champion at the Sam Cali Invitational... Wrestled for six seasons at Elite Wrestling Club... Honor roll student for two years.
