BEFORE AU – Attended North Allegheny HS in Pittsburgh, the alma mater of AU head coach Teague Moore…. Went 35-1 in his senior season at North Allegheny… Won the WPIAL title and finished 3rd in the PIAA State Championships in Class AAA… Won his section title as a senior… Also attended Kiski School, where he went 30-5 in his junior year… Earned first place in the National Preps in 2013-14 and was second in 2014-15, losing in sudden-victory in the final… Five-time Pennsylvania Junior state champ.

PERSONAL –  Parents are Kimberly and Sang Hong… Plans to major in business entrepreneurship… Lists sports hero as Bobby Fischer… Would cast Jackie Chan in a movie about his life.
