2016-17 (Sophomore) - NCAA QUALIFIER at 125 pounds after 2nd-place finish at EIWA Championship... His 50th career win came with 13-4 major decision over Jose Rodriguez of Ohio State in NCAA opening round... Lost 15-6 to Ethan Lizak of Minnesota and Bruck Hudkins of Northern Illionis in next two rounds... NWCA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM and ACADEMIC ALL-EIWA SELECTION... Won two majors and a tech fall to reach EIWA final, where he lost 5-4 to eventual national champ Damian Cruz of Lehigh... Led Eagles with 29 wins (T13th on single-season list) and 13 dual-meet wins during season... His eight technical falls were a SCHOOL RECORD for a single season and his eight major decisions were T8th… Won the Wolfpack Open early in season, with 5-0 win over Matt Schmitt of West Virginia… Won his first seven matches before falling to Noah Baughman at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational … Finished third at the Midlands Championship (went 5-2) with wins over Christian Moody (Oklahoma) and Shakur Laney (Ohio), but fell to Thomas Gilman (Iowa), 8-6… Won all three matches at the AU Duals over Drew Templeman (Wyoming), Sean Badua (Army West Point) and Tyrone Klump (UNC)… Dropped his only dual match on the road to Darian Cruz (Lehigh) … Won his next 10 matches before falling to Cruz in the finals of the EIWA Championship.
2015-16 (Redshirt) - Competed as a redshirt during his sophomore season… Compiled a 15-1 record in open events… Placed first as an unattached at the Dave Lehman F&M Open winning two of the four matches by falls… Second at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Open, dropping his only contest in the final, 6-1… Won the Messiah Open, beating open wrestler Sam Cali, 14-2, in final… Claimed the National Collegiate Open with a pair of technical falls and beat Edinboro''s Korbin Myers in the final 4-0.
2014-15 (Freshman) - Compiled a 21-17 overall record, including a 13-7 mark in dual action as the Eagles’ starter at 133 pounds… registered two falls, six major decisions and two technical falls… began the season with a third-place showing at the Hokie Open, posting a 3-1 record that included a victory over 18th-ranked Kevin Norstrem of Virginia Tech… placed third at the Aloha Open… garnered GEICO AU Student-Athlete of the Week honors on Jan. 12… earned a spot on the podium in his first appearance at the EIWA Championships, placing sixth.
Mid-Pacific Institute - Four-time Hawaii state champion… team MVP… posted a 120-1 record over four years… Junior National Greco-Roman champion… Junior National All-American in freestyle (seventh place)… Cadet National All-American in both Greco-Roman (third place) and freestyle (fourth place)… also competed in judo for 13 years… four-time state judo champion in high school… compiled a perfect 84-0 record in judo.
