2011-12: Registered a 14th-place finish in the 100 breast (58.57) at the Patriot League Championships … came in 21st in the 200 breast (2:10.57) and 22nd place in the 50 free (22.35) at the PLs … earned a fifth-place result in the 100 breast (1:04.47) at the James Madison quad-meet … selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
High School: Swam four years for Ballston Spa High School, earning four varsity letters and serving as captain his senior year ... swam for Ballston Spa Swordfish club team for three years ... sectional champion, state qualifier, and school record holder in the 100 breast ... also holds the school record in the 200 medley relay, and was sectional champion in the 200 free relay ... team won the Section 2 Sportsmanship Award ... four-year NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete ... four-time Ballston High School breaststroke MVP ... first team SCC All Star Team ... also lettered in cross country as a freshman, sophomore, and junior ... is an eagle scout and also participated in the National Honor Society, physics club, and is a two-time AP Scholar.
