Addison Roemer, the American University women's soccer team earned its third draw of the season at George Mason, 0-0. Next up for the Eagles is the start of Patriot League play on Saturday, Sept. 20 against Army.

How it Happened
- The Eagles had an early chance in the seventh minute on a shot from Nariah Goldman. The save resulted in a corner kick for AU, but the Eagles didn't get a shot off on the corner play.
- Possession was even throughout the half, with neither team gaining enough control to take any more shots on target in the remaining 39 minutes.
- Roemer had to come alive early in the second half and she was up to the task, making four saves in the first 15 minutes.
- The barrage continued in the final stretch, with Mason dominating possession throughout the period.
- With six minutes remaining, Roemer made her biggest save of the game, punching a headed shot up and off the crossbar to keep the Patriots off the scoreboard.
- Roemer made another diving save with three minutes left, and a routine save in the final minute.
