- Junior Eliza Fisher has anchored the Eagles' defense at the centerback position through three games this season, and for her efforts in the shutout against Maryland, she was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career after playing all 90 minutes in the game.

- Binghamton enters Sunday's game with a 1-1-2 record, having tied their last two games against St. Bonaventure and Monmouth, with each game ending with a 1-1 score.
- Binghamton's win this season came in their opening game, a 3-2 victory over George Washington, who American played to a 1-1 tie just days prior.
