STERLING, Va. – The 33rd playing of the Eagles Club Golf Classic was a great success with sunny skies and a fantastic turnout making for a memorable day at 1757 Golf Club on Monday, June 3. Thanks to the generous support of many sponsors and individual donors, over $55,000 was raised for the General Athletics Fund to support the student-athlete experience at American University.

The annual event raises funds for the more than 275 student-athletes at American, a number of whom were on hand to help the day run smoothly along with nearly all the head coaches, many assistants and a large group of support staff. Following the round of golf, dinner was served, raffle winners were drawn, and awards were handed out.
