HOW IT HAPPENED
  • 13 minutes into the game, JMU jumped out a 1-0 lead after Ariana Reyes cleaned up a chance in the box.

  • AU picked up two straight corner kicks as a result, but couldn't find the back of the net.
  • James Madison scored goals in the 62nd and 64th minute to put the game out of the reach.
  • For the second straight game, AU's opponent was awarded a penalty kick after a yellow card in the box. The Dukes went up 4-0 in the 79th minute as Lidia Nduka cashed in her PK attempt.
  • The Eagles picked up the pace offensively in the final 10 minutes, generating three shot attempts, including a shot on goal by Steel.
