Brinson Scores in 1-1 Tie at Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Morgan Brinson scored her first goal of the season in the 11th minute, but a Bison goal midway through the first led to a 1-1 double-overtime tie at Bucknell on Saturday. 

Postgame Notes
  • Brinson's goal was her first collegiate tally in 39 appearances. 
  • Alysa Vazquez added an assists as she sent a long pass that Brinson finished 1v1 low to the right side.
  • Bucknell's Abby Gearhart tied the game in the 28th minute with Gabby Blair picking up the assist. 
  • Bucknell finished with an 8-5 edge in shots on goal. 
  • AU split time in goal as Amy Krotine made the start and had one save. Ryleigh Brown finished the contest with six saves in 65 minutes. 
  • Bucknell keeper Kaylee Donnelly had four saves.
