WASHINGTON — Senior Yari Bradfield and Audrey Denkler scored to give the American University women's soccer team a much-needed win at home over Lafayette, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon. 

Postgame Notes

• With her goal in the 68th minute, Yari Bradfield jumped into a tie for sixth place in AU's all-time single-season goals list. Bradfield increased her lead in the Patriot League with her 13th goal. 
• Audrey Denkler scored in the 54th minute, her third of the year. 
• Senior Gabriela Maldonado picked up two assists and leads the PL with eight assists. 
• Junior Samm Francucci had an assist on Bradfield's goal. 
• Junior keeper Morgan Lang made two saves for her first collegiate shutout. 
• American outshot Lafayette, 9-4.
