Denkler, Bradfield Leads@AU_WSoccer over Holy Cross, 4-1

WORCESTER, Mass. — Senior Yari Bradfield leaped over head coach Anabel Hering for ninth-place in the AU single-season record book for goals in a season after she scored twice in a 4-1 win over Holy Cross on Saturday.

  • With two goals today, Bradfield owns the Patriot League lead with 11 goals and 23 points.
  • Bradfield is the first Eagle under head coach Anabel Hering to score double-digit goals in a season.
  • The last Eagle to score in double digits was Kelsey Brasher in 2007.
  • Senior Audrey Denkler scored her first two goals of the season and her first multi-goal game of her career. 
  • Denkler scored both goals in a span of 3:11 with classmate Gabriela Maldonado credited with both assists. 
  • With two assists against Holy Cross, Maldonado is now tied for the Patriot League lead with Navy's Baseley McClaskey with six assists.
  • Junior keeper Morgan Lang collected four saves for her second win of the season.
