BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Sabrina Mertz scored the lone goal in the 74th minute to give Lehigh a 1-0 victory over the American University women's soccer team on Friday evening. 

American finishes the 2016 season with a 1-16-2 overall record. Lehigh improves to 11-4-2 on the season. 

Morgan Lang made five saves and Sam Miller had one stop for the Mountain Hawks. 

Lehigh finished with a 16-3 edge in shots and 7-0 in corner kicks. 

Haley Mullins had the only shot on goal for the Eagles.
