EASTON, Pa. — Joanna Scotti scored 72 seconds into regulation as Lafayette defeated the American University women's soccer team 3-0 on a rainy Saturday afternoon. 

Lafayette finished with a 17-3 advantage in shots. 

Melissa Lynskey and Alex Stanford also scored for the Leopards.

Morgan Lang faced three shots before Colleen Vivaldi completed the game and made five saves on six shots. 

American will host Penn in its final non-conference match of the season on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
