WEST POINT, N.Y. — Kelly Donovan scored in the 62nd minute, but Army West Point tied the game 17 minutes later to secure the, 1-1, double-overtime tie on Saturday evening.

Donovan's fourth goal of the season came on a one-timer off a cross by Yari Bradfield and an initial pass by Marley Jennings.

The Black Knights pressured the Eagles throughout the contest and finished with a 27-5 edge in shots and a 14-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Army West Point tied the game late on a rebound by Candace Stewart off a header by Clare Shea.

AU keeper Courtney Bembenek made 13 saves and her counterpart Jordan Cassalla made one.

American will have a pair of games on tap for next week, beginning with its final non-conference match at Penn on Tuesday, followed by a home PL game against Bucknell on Saturday.
