Melissa Parker was recognized as the Patriot League Female Diver of the Week, conference officials announced Monday. She was also named the AU Student-Athlete of the Week Presented by GEICO, Department of Athletics officials announced.

Parker won both the one-meter and three-meter diving competitions in a dual meet against Howard over the weekend, replacing the meet records in both events. The Livermore, Calif. native won the one-meter dive with a final score of 232.30. Se also registered a final mark of 237.85 to win the three-meter dive.

The honor is the third for the sophomore in her career.

Parker and the Eagles resume competition next Saturday, November 3 when they travel to Easton, Pa. for a quad-meet against Patriot League opponents Lafayette, Bucknell and Navy.
