No. 29 Men's XC Takes 12th at Bill Dellinger Invite

EUGENE, Ore. - In a race packed with some of the nation's best, the No. 29American University men's cross country team took 12th place at the Bill Dellinger Invite Friday night in Eugene, Ore. Senior Conor Lanz was American's top finisher, taking 44th overall in the race.

Behind Lanz, who finished in 24:20.91 for the 7.7 kilometer race, was fellow senior Dan Beardslee in 63rd in 24:36.66. Awit Yohannes in 67th, Steve Hallinan in 89th and Rob Hoffman in 95th rounded out the top-five scoring for the Eagles. Brendan Fennell in 103rd and Brian McCabe in 106th were the last Eagle finishers.

BYU's Josh Rohatinsky and host Oregon took top individual and team honors, respectively.

The rest of the Eagle cross country teams race tomorrow at the George Mason Invite in Manassas, Va.
