@AU_WSoccer Hosts Loyola Maryland With Three Games Left

WASHINGTON — The American University women's soccer team will host Loyola Maryland in a battle for a spot in the Patriot League Quarterfinals on Wednesday.

Game Notes

  • Weekly Honor — Senior Audrey Denkler was named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week after finishing with five points in a 4-1 win over Holy Cross. Denkler scored the first two goals for the Eagles and then added an assist on Yari Bradfield's fourth goal.
  • Move Over Coach — Senior Yari Bradfield moved into ninth all-time in the AU single-season goals list with two goals at Holy Cross. Her first tied head coach Anabel Hering for ninth all-time before her second took over the sole possession of the ranking. 
  • PL Leaders — Yari Bradfield leads the Patriot League in points (23), goals (11), and shots (53). Audrey Denkler and Gabriela Maldonado lead the league in assists with six. 
  • Ride Greyhound — Hannah Hoefs leads Loyola with four goals and 10 points. In goal, Summer Rahe has a 1.18 goals against average and a .704 save percentage.
