GRAND LAKE, Colo. – For the 10th straight season, the American University lacrosse team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) as a Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Squad.

Meanwhile, four Eagles—rising seniors Sarah Bootman, Kayla Flynn, Shauna Norris and Daniella Pino—have been selected to the IWLCA Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll.

The IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad recognizes women's lacrosse programs that have compiled a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. A total of 275 schools, including 92 Division I programs, received the honor for the 2016 season.

To earn recognition on the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved at least junior status academically and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater.
