16 student-athletes from the American University lacrosse team have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Thursday.

Romano and freshmen Eliza Morgan (4.00, business administration) were the two of 25 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll to achieve a perfect 4.00 grade-point average during the spring semester.

Additionally, sophomores Paige Lin (3.78, biology), Bernadette Maher (3.60, public communications), Bayley McDonough (3.68, undecided), and Lauren Schoenberger (3.68, psychology and philosophy) each earned the award for their second year.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the winter/spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League’s Championship sports.
