Video: Catching Up With Women’s Lacrosse Alumna Lauren Lane ‘08

At the American University women’s lacrosse alumnae day in the fall, AUeagles.com caught up with Lauren Lane ’08. A native of North Massapequa, N.Y., Lane graduated with a B.S. in Public Communications and a minor in Literature. She was selected as a Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection twice in her career.

On the field, the attacker played a key role on the 2008 Patriot League Regular Season Championship team. Lane was selected as an All-Patriot League Second Team pick in that season with 55 points, good for third most on the squad. Lane played alongside her twin sister, Jackie, who was a two-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, including in the 2008 campaign.

Watch the following video as Lane talks about her playing days at American and what it means to come back to Jacobs Field and participate in the annual alumnae day. For more information in how to get involved in each sport’s alumni days, contact Meg Sturges at sturges@american.edu.
