Brackets Announced for NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The brackets for the 2015 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, being held March 19-21 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo., have been released.

American junior wrestlers David Terao and John Boyle, who both earned runner-up finishes at the EIWA Championships, will represent the Eagles at the national tournament.

Terao, ranked 16th in the nation by InterMat at 125 pounds, will make his third appearance at the NCAA Championships in as many seasons. He enters this year's tournament with a 37-5 overall record, having already set the Eagles' single-season record for total wins.

Unseeded heading into this year's event, Terao will face ninth-seed Dylan Peters of Northern Iowa in his first round match-up.

Meanwhile, Boyle will make his first career NCAA appearance. Ranked 17th in the latest InterMat poll, Boyle was granted the eighth seed at 157 pounds after compiling a 36-8 record on the season. He will take on Boise State's Steven Hernandez in the opening round of competition.
